Shaquill Griffin will be a star in the Legion of Boom

The Seahawks’ Legion of Boom has been a dominant force in the NFL for the last five years. Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, and Kam Chancellor were a large reason why Seattle completely annihilated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 48. However, ever since Brandon Browner and Byron Maxwell left the team, they have yet to find the missing player opposite of Sherman. Well, that was the case, until now.

Shaquill Griffin was Seattle’s third round pick out of Central Florida. In this video, I analyzed his use and development in the Seahawks’ defense. His aggression and his quick transition from college has allowed the defense to bench Jeremy Lane and start him as the Seahawks’ starting outside cornerback.
