Shelton has surprising speed and agility off of the line of scrimmage and combines this with an incredible swim move that shakes interior offensive lineman.
As offensive lineman get taller and taller a rip move is becoming more effective. Here Shelton uses the club/inside rip move to beat the right guard and almost get the sack but Shelton gets blocked in the back illegally by the right guard who is trying to protect his quarterback.
Although, Shelton has a repertoire of inside pass rushing moves, he sometimes stands too tall, raising his pad height, and therefore loses leverage. It happened far too often for my liking. He needs to stay down in his stance and use his leg power to drive the blockers back.
