Zone Possession Receiver
Josh Doctson is incredible against zone coverage. He knows how to find the soft spot between defenders and can use his wide catch radius to bring in passes safely for his team. He is excellent at catching the ball in traffic.
Catching
Josh Doctson is a sure-handed receiver. He does a good job of extending his arms away from his body to attack the ball in the air and will come back to it on curl routes.
Doctson will struggle with an occassional concentration drop. He was a high volume receiver at TCU and overall his drop percentage is quite low comparing to how many times Trevone Boykin forced him the football or simply threw up the ball hoping that Doctson would come down with it.
