Ezekiel Elliott highlights an elite Cowboys’ running attack vs Seahawks

The Dallas Cowboys made Ezekiel Elliott the highest-drafted running back since 2012 when they took him with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. With the NFL turning into a passing league, many thought this pick was a reach considering that the value of the running back position has steadily decreased over the past few years. In this video breakdown, I looked at a few of Ezekiel Elliott’s runs versus the Seattle Seahawks and how he showed flashes of being worthy of a top five pick for the Dallas Cowboys.

In this game, the Seahawks struggled to contain Elliott allowing him to gain 48 yards on seven carries in the first quarter alone. Elliott showed elusiveness, natural running ability, and surprising power to match up against Seahawks’ strong safety Kam Chancellor. You’ll also see a tiny bit of how Tyron Smith, Bobby Wagner, Jordan Hill, and Michael Bennett played in the game.
